Notice of an Special General Meeting to be held on Sunday, 2nd October 2022 at Sutton Rugby Club, Walmley Road.
A request has been presented by the requisite number of Committee members to amend Club rule 4a which will change the way in which membership fees are collected, the reason being to make fee collection more efficient. In order to debate this change a Special General Meeting has been called.
The current rule is:
Each member shall confirm his or her details annually and pay a subscription expiring on 31 December in each year:
For an Adult
For a Junior ( from minimum age of 11 years to 16 years inclusive)
For a Senior Citizen (60 years)
provided that there shall be an Associate membership open through introduction by a member for those interested in sharing in the Club’s activities other than training. And provided further that for any member joining on or after 1st July the annual subscription for the remainder of the year shall be reduced.
The proposed rule change is:
On joining and each anniversary thereafter, each member shall confirm his or her details and pay a subscription:

The meeting will take place at the training venue at 4:30pm, Sunday 2nd October 2022. All members are cordially invited to attend.
